Automotive and Transport
Bus bodies, rail interiors, and exhaust heat shields start as SS sheet. Stainless Steel 409 Sheets & Plates handle exhaust heat economically, 439 and 441 cover welded hot joints, and 430 dresses trim.
We are Riddhi Siddhi Impex, an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018-certified Stainless Steel Sheets & Plates supplier and stockist, operating from Mumbai since 2002. We hold cold-rolled sheets and hot-rolled plates to ASTM, ASME, and AMS standards, sourced from reputed primary mills. We hold a monthly supply capacity of 400 to 500 tonnes and dispatch within 4 to 5 days, keeping procurement on schedule.
Stainless steel sheets and plates are flat-rolled products supplied as cut lengths rather than wound coils. Thickness and rolling route separate the two forms. Cold-rolled sheets carry the thinner gauges and smoother faces; hot-rolled plates cover heavier sections for tanks, structures, and process vessels. Chromium at 10.5% minimum builds a passive oxide film that repairs itself after scratches, so panels resist corrosion without coating.
Our Mumbai warehouse carries around 1000 tonnes of stock annually. CR sheets run 3.8 mm to 6 mm, HR plates run 6 mm and above, and heavier stainless steel plates are made-to-order. Standard widths cover 1000 mm, 1220 mm, 1500 mm, and 2000 mm, with lengths up to 6000 mm. Every consignment ships with mill documentation upon request.
Fifteen stainless steel grades across three families are reserved in our sheet and SS plate stock.
Ten austenitic grades anchor the range, covering fabrication, chemical, and heat-facing duties.
Cold work strengthens Stainless Steel 301 Sheets & Plates fast, suiting formed panels needing extra stiffness.
View gradeStainless Steel 304 Sheets & Plates move faster than any other grade we stock, balancing corrosion resistance, formability, and price.
View gradeFabricators weld Stainless Steel 304L Sheets & Plates into tanks without carbide precipitation, due to the lower carbon ceiling.
View gradeFurnace casings and combustion chambers use Stainless Steel 309 Sheets & Plates for scaling resistance.
View gradeKiln linings and radiant sections keep Stainless Steel 310S Sheets & Plates in sustained high-temperature duty.
View gradeMolybdenum carries Stainless Steel 316L Sheets & Plates through chloride exposure, and low carbon keeps welded seams sound.
View gradeExtra molybdenum takes Stainless Steel 317L Sheets & Plates into scrubber linings and harsher acid streams.
View gradeTitanium stabilisation protects Stainless Steel 321 Sheets & Plates from intergranular attack after welding or heat soaks.
View gradeNiobium does the stabilising in Stainless Steel 347 Sheets & Plates, so refineries weld them for hot service.
View gradeCopper joins high nickel and molybdenum in Stainless Steel 904L Sheets & Plates to blunt sulphuric acid attack.
View gradeLow nickel keeps the four ferritic grades economical for exhaust, appliance, and trim work.
Exhaust fabricators buy Stainless Steel 409 Sheets & Plates for moderate corrosion resistance at minimum alloy cost.
View gradeAppliance panels and architectural trim take Stainless Steel 430 Sheets & Plates for their clean, rolled surface.
View gradeA titanium addition lets Stainless Steel 439 Sheets & Plates weld cleanly in exhaust and heat exchanger fabrication.
View gradeTwin stabilisers hold weld integrity in Stainless Steel 441 Sheets & Plates through repeated exhaust heat cycles.
View gradeOne martensitic grade completes the fifteen, hardening by heat treatment instead of cold work.
The rolling route decides the finish: hot-rolled plates ship pickled (No.1), while cold-rolled sheets take the smoother finishes below.
HR
Hot-rolled plates arrive annealed and pickled to a descaled matt-grey face for structural and process fabrication.
2B
Annealing, pickling, and a light final pass give 2B sheets a smooth, semi-reflective surface, the default for CR stock.
BA
Bright annealing delivers a near-mirror surface straight from the line, saving polishing on decorative panels.
No. 4
Kitchen and elevator panel makers pick the No.4 brushed texture since fingerprints stay hidden.
Matte
Low reflectivity makes matte sheets the pick for transport interiors where glare distracts.
3 industrial sectors use most of the stainless steel sheets and plates leaving our warehouse. Corrosion exposure and temperature decide the grade.
As a certified stainless steel sheet supplier in India, Riddhi Siddhi Impex backs every dispatch with 3 ISO certifications and mill-level traceability.
Each dispatch carries an EN 10204 Type 3.1/ 3.2 mill test certificate traced to the originating heat. Type 3.2 comes on request.
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification keeps quality management consistent from procurement to dispatch.
Environmental practice across storage, cutting, and waste handling runs under ISO 14001:2015.
ISO 45001:2018 governs occupational health and safety throughout our warehouse and processing operations.
Flat-rolled stainless 600 mm or wider falls under HS heading 7219, which covers most sheets and plates; narrower material moves under 7220. Confirm the exact subheading with your customs broker.
Yes, stainless steel sheets and plates stay in stock year-round as our two fastest movers. Standard dispatch takes 4 to 5 days; urgent orders leave in 2 to 3 days.
