We are Riddhi Siddhi Impex, a Mumbai-based supplier and stockist of Inconel 600 Coils, established in 2002. We hold a ready stock of nickel-chromium-iron alloy coils to ASTM B168 / ASME SB-168 in 0.03 mm to 5 mm gauges. Our ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001-certified company carries a monthly supply capacity of 400-500 tonnes and ships with EN 10204 Type 3.1 / 3.2 mill test certificates upon request.
Inconel 600 coils are flat-rolled lengths of nickel-chromium-iron alloy wound for continuous fabrication. The grade holds 72% nickel minimum, which blocks chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and caustic damage, while 14 to 17% chromium forms the oxide film that resists scaling. Service runs to about 1093 °C. Density is 8.47 g/cm³, and the alloy doesn't respond to hardening heat treatment; cold work is its only strengthening route. It is specified in the chemical and petrochemical processing industries.
We stock these Inconel coils and slit them to any width between 3 mm and 2000 mm in our own facility. Material leaves annealed to ASTM B168, in a choice of finishes and edge conditions, with test documentation covering every dispatch.

Mechanical Properties of Inconel 600 Coils
Annealed ASME SB-168 coils meet a 550 MPa minimum tensile strength with 30% elongation, so they slit, press, and deep-draw without cracking. Yield minimums apply at 0.51 mm and above; figures for thinner gauges stay indicative.

Industrial Applications of Inconel 600 Coils
These 4 industries use the Inconel 600 coils we supply. Each selects the grade for oxidation resistance, heat strength, or immunity to chloride cracking rather than for price.
Heat Treatment and Thermal Processing
Furnace builders form Alloy 600 coil into muffles, retorts, radiant tubes, and carburising fixtures. The grade keeps strength and scaling resistance in oxidising atmospheres to about 1093 °C, and it shrugs off the carbon pickup that embrittles stainless fixtures. Slit widths feed roll-forming lines directly and save fabrication time.
Chemical and Petrochemical Processing
Chemical plants convert Inconel 600 coil into heat exchanger strips, reactor linings, and gasket stock for caustic and chloride duty. Sodium hydroxide leaves the alloy untouched at every concentration. Hot chloride streams split austenitic stainless through stress corrosion cracking; this grade runs the same service for years.
Nuclear Engineering
Nuclear fabricators specify UNS N06600 coils for steam generator hardware, control-rod components, and reactor internals. The alloy corrodes at a very low rate in high-purity water, a requirement written into reactor material lists. Tight gauge control from our slitting lines supports the fine clearances that nuclear assemblies demand.
Power Generation and Electronics
Power stations and heater manufacturers wind Inconel 600 coil into turbine seals, boiler trim, and sheathing for electric heating elements. Oxidation resistance through repeated heating cycles keeps element sheaths intact over long service. Electronics producers rely on the same stability for thermostat springs and sensor housings.

Frequently Asked Questions
What specification covers Inconel 600 Coils?
Inconel 600 coils are covered by ASTM B168 and its ASME equivalent SB-168, which cover nickel-chromium-iron alloy plate, sheet, and strip. Coils are the wound delivery form of that strip.
What is the chemical composition of Nickel 600 Coils?
The chemical composition of Nickel 600 coils is 72% nickel minimum, 14 to 17% chromium, and 6 to 10% iron, with carbon capped at 0.15% and controlled limits on manganese, silicon, copper, and sulphur.
What is the maximum service temperature for Inconel 600 Coils?
The maximum service temperature for Inconel 600 coils is about 1093 °C in oxidising atmospheres. Strength falls as heat climbs, so load-bearing parts are normally sized for lower temperatures.
Can Inconel 600 Coils be welded to Stainless Steel?
Yes, Inconel 600 coils can be welded to stainless steel using a nickel-alloy filler such as ERNiCr-3. Joints must stay clean and free of sulphur, which the alloy won't tolerate at temperature.
What Coil ID and OD do you supply for Inconel 600?
We supply Inconel 600 coils with an inner diameter of 150 mm to 610 mm and an outer diameter up to 1800 mm.
Where can I source Inconel 600 Coils in India?
You can source Inconel 600 Coils in India from us at Riddhi Siddhi Impex. Our Mumbai warehouse holds Alloy 600 coils on the shelf for immediate dispatch.
