Inconel foils are flat-rolled nickel-chromium superalloy products taken down to thin gauge, the material engineers specify when a part must keep its strength and surface stability through serious heat. Chromium grows a protective oxide film that repairs itself whenever service conditions strip it away, while the nickel matrix stays ductile and crack-resistant from cryogenic temperatures up into red heat. Fabricators convert the foil into combustion seals, bellows convolutions, heat shields, instrument diaphragms, thermocouple sheathing wraps, and furnace muffle linings. A component cut from a few grams of foil survives thermal cycling that would scale ordinary stainless steel away, which is why gas turbine and furnace builders keep the alloy family on their approved lists.
As a reliable Inconel foil supplier, all of the foils we offer passes through our slitting lines. We slit annealed source coil between 0.03 mm and 0.08 mm at our Mumbai and Taloja works, holding width to ±0.1 mm across the full 3 mm to 2000 mm range. We can drill inner diameters of 150 mm through 610 mm, build outer diameters as far as 1800 mm, and finish with a mill, slit, deburred, or round edge as specified. Heat-traceable certificates enter stock alongside the material, and pallet-packed wooden cases protect dispatches to the site or port.
