Titanium coils are continuous lengths of flat-rolled titanium wound after hot or cold rolling. Fabricators uncoil the strip and press, roll form, or weld it into finished parts. The metal builds a stable oxide film the moment a fresh surface meets air, so finished components resist seawater, chlorides, and oxidising acids without any coating. At 4.51 g/cm³, titanium weighs a little over half as much as stainless steel, and that's why weight-critical industries accept its premium. Coil feed also trims material waste against the cut sheet, since every blank nests along one continuous rolled length.
Hot-rolled coils run from 2 mm to 5 mm thick. Cold-rolled coils run from 0.03 mm to 3 mm, with precision gauges available on request. Every source coil arrives with mill documentation traceable to its melt heat before slitting or dispatch, and buyers can order full coils or slit widths from the same stock held at our Mumbai and Taloja warehouses. Slitting runs in-house, so one titanium coil can yield several finished widths against a single certificate.

In chemical processing facilities and industrial gas treatment systems, Titanium Grade 2 coils are a standard material choice wherever chloride-bearing fluids or vapours are present. Their corrosion resistance makes them particularly suitable for scrubbers and process units that must operate reliably in harsh, chloride-rich environments.
Desalination units and seawater condensers use large quantities of commercially pure titanium coils. Titanium Grade 2 is preferred for cladding tubesheets and other trim in direct contact with full-strength seawater. Because it resists pitting even in warm seawater, engineers can safely design evaporator walls with reduced thickness.
