What are Hastelloy C276 Sheets & Plates?
Hastelloy C276 sheets and plates are nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy flat products with added tungsten, carrying the designation UNS N10276. Molybdenum and tungsten resist pitting and crevice attack in reducing acids, while chromium handles oxidising media. Its very low carbon content limits carbide precipitation during welding, so fabricated joints keep their resistance. It is applied in high-performance industrial applications like chemical processing, pharmaceutical and more.
We stock the grade in cold-rolled Hastelloy C276 sheets from 0.8 mm and hot-rolled plates in heavier gauges, up to 2000 mm wide. Every Alloy C-276 sheet and plate is supplied in the solution-annealed condition per ASTM B575 - cold-rolled sheets in 2B finish and hot-rolled plates in No. 1 (annealed and pickled) finish.
