Alloy 20 foils are thin, flat-rolled products of an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium grade, listed in trade catalogues as Alloy 20Cb-3. Copper at 3.0 to 4.0% gives the alloy its footing in sulphuric acid, the duty it was designed around. Molybdenum adds pitting resistance; chromium handles oxidising media. Niobium ties up carbon, so welded parts resist intergranular attack, and 32.0 to 38.0% nickel provides excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Alloy 20 foils are typically used in chemical storage tanks, pickling equipment, heat exchangers, and pharmaceutical piping networks.

Foils leave annealed soft to ASME SB-463, in any width from 3 mm to 2000 mm, with three surfaces and four edge options. EN 10204 certificates (available on request) document each batch from source coil to dispatch.
