Nickel Coils
Supplier and Stockist in India

We are Riddhi Siddhi Impex, an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001-certified Mumbai-based nickel coils supplier and stockist established in 2002. We stock commercially pure nickel coils to ASTM B162 / ASME SB-162 from reputed primary mills and slit them in-house. Ready annealed inventory, a supplying capacity of 400 to 500 tonnes per month, and dispatch within 4 to 5 days keep caustic plants and electronics lines running without mill lead times.

About Nickel Coils

Nickel coils are continuous lengths of flat-rolled commercially pure nickel wound after hot or cold rolling. The chemistry is at 99.0% nickel minimum, and that purity is the point. Caustic alkalis, including sodium hydroxide at every concentration, leave the surface untouched, a claim no stainless grade can make. Thermal and electrical conductivity run well above most nickel alloys, and the metal stays ferromagnetic at room temperature, which transducer and relay builders use directly. Density sits at 8.89 g/cm³, with a melting range of 1435 to 1446 °C. Heat treatment won’t strengthen commercially pure nickel; fabricators rely on cold work whenever a part needs extra strength.

Our Mumbai and Taloja warehouses hold nickel coil in both rolling routes. Hot rolled pickled coils cover the heavier gauges from about 2 mm to 5 mm, while cold rolled coils start at 0.03 mm. Every source coil arrives with its mill documentation before anything is slit, so heat numbers stay traceable from the melt to the delivered width. Buyers order full source coils or slit widths from the same stock, and material dispatches annealed, the standard mill condition for flat nickel products. Technical data sheets accompany the coil on request.

Grades We Supply

We hold ready stock of 2 nickel coil grades, Nickel 200 and Nickel 201. Carbon content is the only real difference between their chemistries, and it decides how hot each grade can serve. Most enquiries settle on one of them within a single conversation about operating temperature.

Industries We Serve for Nickel Coils

Most of the nickel coils produced in our slitting lines serve 3 industrial sectors. Operating temperature usually decides whether Nickel 200 or Nickel 201 takes the order.

Nickel Coils used in Chemical and Caustic Processing

Chemical and Caustic Processing

Caustic soda plants form Nickel 200 Coils into tank linings, heating elements, and evaporator strip for duty below 315 °C. Hotter surfaces move to Nickel 201 Coils, whose low carbon holds evaporator internals ductile through repeated thermal cycling. Chlor-alkali cells and salt works run both grades through their drying and electrolysis stages.

Nickel Coils used in Electronics and Electrical Components

Electronics and Electrical Components

Nickel 200 is both ferromagnetic and magnetostrictive at room temperature, and is still specified for certain magnetostrictive transducer cores and specialised ultrasonic applications where these combined properties are needed. Battery pack builders stamp tabs and terminals from slit Nickel 201 coil, drawing on electrical conductivity that carries current with little loss. Narrow slit widths down to 3 mm drop into progressive presses without secondary trimming.

Nickel Coils used in Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Equipment

Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Equipment

Dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical fabricators line product-contact surfaces with Nickel 200 Coils because the metal releases no contaminating ions into the process stream. Hot alkaline clean-in-place cycles pass without staining the surface. Mixer baffles and dosing components formed from this coil keep their dimensions across long washdown schedules.

Certifications of Nickel Coils

Documentation backs every nickel coil dispatch. Riddhi Siddhi Impex works under three ISO certifications, with mill-level traceability beneath them.

3.1EN 10204

Mill Test Certificate

An EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill test certificate accompanies every coil, traceable to its mill heat. Type 3.2 certification is arranged on request.

9001ISO

ISO 9001

Our ISO 9001:2015 certificate covers the quality management system behind sourcing, stocking, and slitting operations.

14001ISO

ISO 14001

Environmental management runs under ISO 14001:2015, from coil storage through material movement and dispatch.

45001ISO

ISO 45001

ISO 45001:2018 governs occupational health and safety across the warehouse and the slitting floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the HS Code for Nickel Coils?

Flat-rolled nickel coils fall under HS heading 7506, which covers nickel plates, sheets, strip, and foil; commercially pure material generally clears under 7506.10. Confirm the final subheading with your customs broker before shipment.

Can you slit Nickel Coils to custom widths?

Yes. We slit any width between 3 mm and 2000 mm and hold the tolerance to ±0.1 mm. Coil ID runs from 150 mm to 610 mm, with OD up to 1800 mm, and slit, deburred, or round edges are finished to your specification.

Where can I buy Nickel Coils in India?

Riddhi Siddhi Impex has stocked nickel coils in Mumbai since 2002, supplying buyers across India and exporting worldwide. Call or WhatsApp our team, and you'll have a quote within 24 hours.
