Hastelloy C22 sheets and plates are flat-rolled forms of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy, designated UNS N06022. Chromium at 20.0 to 22.5% gives it stronger resistance to oxidising media than most nickel grades, while molybdenum and tungsten block pitting, crevice attack, and stress corrosion cracking in chlorides and reducing acids. Carbon is at 0.015% max, so welded joints keep their corrosion resistance. Density is 8.69 g/cm³. The Hastelloy Sheets and Plates are specified in marine applications and chemical processing units.
We stock cold-rolled Alloy C-22 sheet from 3.8 mm and hot-rolled plate in heavier gauges, 3 mm to 2000 mm wide. Every lot arrives solution annealed to ASTM B575 with full heat traceability, and our slitting lines hold widths to ±0.1 mm.
