Hastelloy C22 sheets and plates are flat-rolled forms of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy, designated UNS N06022. Chromium at 20.0 to 22.5% gives it stronger resistance to oxidising media than most nickel grades, while molybdenum and tungsten block pitting, crevice attack, and stress corrosion cracking in chlorides and reducing acids.
