Stainless Steel 310S sheets and plates are high-chromium, high-nickel austenitic products engineered for sustained high-temperature service up to 1150°C. With 24-26% chromium and 19-22% nickel, it grows a stable oxide scale that resists scaling in air to about 1050 °C. The low 0.08% maximum carbon separates 310S from plain 310, cutting carbide precipitation during welding. It also stays tough at cryogenic temperatures, widening use beyond furnaces. These sheets and plates typically used for high-temperature furnace parts, heat exchangers, and cryogenic components.
We stock these 310S stainless steel sheets and plates as part of our Stainless Steel Sheets & Plates range, held to ASTM A240 / ASME SA-240 from 3.8 mm cold-rolled sheet through hot-rolled plate, in widths to 2000 mm. Both forms sit annealed with No.1 and 2B finishes at our Mumbai and Taloja warehouses. Each dispatch carries EN 10204 Type 3.1 or 3.2 mill test certificates on request.
