Stainless Steel 304L foils are thin, flat-rolled sections of the low-carbon 18-8 austenitic grade. Carbon is at 0.030% maximum against 0.08% for standard 304, so welds carry no grain-boundary carbide and the metal resists intergranular attack across the 425 to 850 °C sensitisation range. Chromium at 17.5 to 19.5% builds the passive film; nickel keeps the structure ductile. These Stainless Steel Foils are widely specified in food processing units, pharmaceuticals, and automotive industries.
As a reliable Stainless steel 304L foil supplier and manufacturer, every foil we dispatch comes off our own slitting lines. Material leaves annealed to ASTM A240, cut to any width between 3 mm and 2000 mm, and our inspectors trace each coil from intake to packing.
