Nickel 200 shims are thin, flat spacers cut from commercially pure nickel, a grade holding 99.0% minimum nickel content. The metal is ferromagnetic, melts at the range of 1435-1446 °C, and carries a density of 8.89 g/cm³. Corrosion resistance in caustic alkalis is its defining strength. Fabricators fit these shims wherever a gap must be filled accurately: between flanges, under bearing housings, and inside instrument assemblies.
We process every nickel shim in-house on our own slitting lines rather than reselling standard widths. Material leaves our facility in annealed soft condition to ASTM B162, in any width from 3 mm to 2000 mm. Buyers can choose BA, 2B, Matte, or Skin Pass surfaces. A documented quality system governs each production stage, from mother coil inspection through final dispatch.
