Hastelloy alloy foil is a high-performance, thin-gauge flat product rolled from a specialised nickel-chromium-molybdenum blend, the material chemical engineers reach for when stainless steel gives up. Molybdenum defends the metal in reducing acids, chromium guards it in oxidising ones, and together they shut down the chloride pitting and crevice attack that damages austenitic grades in hot brines and acid condensates. At foil gauge, this corrosion resistance goes where heavier strip cannot: gasket facings, seal windings, bellows convolutions, instrument diaphragms, and lining wraps for reactor internals. A part weighing a few grams then protects equipment worth crores, which is why buyers accept the alloy's premium over stainless without much argument.
As a reliable Hastelloy foil supplier, our Mumbai and Taloja warehouses have annealed soft source coil, slit in-house between 0.03 mm and 0.08 mm. Edge condition follows the order: slit, deburred, round, or mill. Heat-traceable mill documentation accompanies each coil into stock, and wooden cases with pallet packing carry the finished foil to the site or port.
