Super Duplex Steel S32760 Shims are thin, precision-slit spacers of 25Cr super duplex stainless steel, fitted for levelling, alignment, and gap-setting where chlorides destroy ordinary packing. Copper and tungsten at 0.50 to 1.00% each set the grade apart from its corresponding Alloy S32750, joining chromium and molybdenum in a near 50/50 austenite-ferrite structure. ASTM A240 demands a pitting resistance equivalent (PREN) of at least 40 from every heat, so a clamped shim face holds its set thickness. These shims are used in oil and gas applications and desalination plants.
As one of the Super Duplex UNS S32760 shim suppliers and manufacturers, we slit each shim on our own lines from solution-annealed parent coil sourced from reputed primary mills. Gauges cover 0.03 mm to 5 mm at widths from 3 mm to 2000 mm, with EN 10204 Type 3.1 / 3.2 mill test certificates on request.
