What are Inconel 602 Strips?

Inconel 602 strips are flat-rolled lengths of UNS N06025, a nickel-chromium-iron alloy carrying 24.0 to 26.0% chromium and a deliberately high 0.15 to 0.25% carbon. Aluminium at 1.8 to 2.4% grows a tight alumina scale on the surface. Small yttrium and zirconium additions keep that scale bonded through thermal cycling, which is why the grade resists oxidation and carburisation in service up to 1200 °C. Inconel 602 Winding Strip is typically used for high-temperature furnace components and radiant tubes up to 1200 °C.
