Incoloy 825 foils are thin, precision-rolled sections of a nickel-iron-chromium alloy carrying 38.0 to 46.0% nickel along with molybdenum, copper, and titanium. Copper and molybdenum resist reducing acids such as sulphuric and phosphoric, chromium covers oxidising media, and titanium guards welded joints against sensitisation. UNS N08825 foil also resists chloride pitting and stress corrosion cracking, so fabricators pick it for shim and gasket stock in acid service. These Inconel Foils are mostly used in marine engineering and the oil and gas industries.
As a reputed Incoloy 825 foil supplier and manufacturer, we process every Alloy 825 foil in-house on our own slitting lines. Material leaves in annealed soft condition to ASTM B424, slit to any width between 3 mm and 2000 mm. Buyers can specify BA, 2B, Matte PVC, or Matte finishes, and slit, deburred, or round edges.
