Hastelloy C22 foils are thin-gauge flat products of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy. Chromium at 20.0 to 22.5% protects the foil in oxidising media. Molybdenum at 12.5 to 14.5%, working with 2.5 to 3.5% tungsten, blocks pitting and crevice attack in reducing acids and chlorides. Carbon stays at 0.015% max, so thin-welded sections enter service without post-weld annealing. Rolled down to foil gauge, the grade becomes diaphragm, bellows, and gasket stock for chemistry that destroys stainless foil. These Hastelloy Foils are used in pharmaceuticals and chemical processing industries.
As a reputed Hastelloy C22 Foil supplier, we slit every UNS N06022 foil on our own precision lines, cutting any width from 3 mm to 2000 mm at ±0.1 mm. Material ships soft annealed in BA, 2B, Matte surfaces with slit, deburred, or round edges.
