Stainless Steel 317L strip is a low-carbon austenitic grade carrying 3.0 to 4.0% molybdenum, roughly a full point above 316L. That extra molybdenum lifts pitting and crevice resistance in acidic chloride media, so these stainless steel strip hold up in flue-gas scrubbers and pulp bleaching lines. Carbon is at 0.030% maximum, which curbs sensitisation and keeps welded strip assemblies free of intergranular attack.
As a trusted 317L stainless steel strip supplier and manufacturer, every strip leaves our Mumbai lines slit from parent coil sourced from reputed primary mills, in gauges from 0.03 mm to 5 mm. We supply the grade cold-rolled and annealed to ASTM A240, in any width down to 3 mm, under a documented quality system from incoming coil to dispatch.
