904L Stainless Steel strips are narrow, flat-rolled lengths of a super austenitic grade alloyed with 23 to 28% nickel, 19 to 23% chromium, 4 to 5% molybdenum, and 1 to 2% copper. Metallurgists bred 904L for dilute sulphuric acid duty, the service that peels the passive film off ordinary austenitics. High molybdenum holds chloride pitting at bay, and the structure stays non-magnetic and ductile down to thin gauge. These stainless steel strips are used in heat exchangers and the pharmaceutical industry.
As a reliable 904L stainless steel strip manufacturer and supplier, every strip we sell is slit in-house from parent coils sourced from reputed primary mills. Gauges run 0.03 mm to 5 mm and widths from 3 mm to 2000 mm, always solution annealed, with four finishes and four edge types. Test papers accompany the dispatch on request.
