Hastelloy sheets and plates are flat-rolled products of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, specified where chloride-bearing acids and mixed chemical streams corrode stainless steel too quickly to tolerate. Molybdenum, reinforced by tungsten, defends the surface against pitting and crevice attack, while the nickel matrix shrugs off the chloride stress corrosion cracking that limits austenitic grades. Low carbon and silicon keep the heat-affected zone clean, so fabricators weld these alloys without a post-weld solution anneal in most constructions. The rolling route splits the two forms. Cold rolling produces sheet in lighter gauges for linings, cladding, and fabricated components, and hot rolling followed by annealing and pickling produces plate for vessel shells, columns, and scrubber internals.
Our Mumbai and Taloja warehouses carry both Hastelloy grades as ready stock in the annealed mill condition. Cold rolled sheets run from 3.8 mm to 6 mm, and hot rolled plates cover 6 mm and above. Standard widths are 1000 mm, 1219 mm, 1500 mm, and 2000 mm, with lengths up to 6000 mm and custom lengths against order. Every consignment reaches the warehouse with mill documentation before any cutting or dispatch, and our in-house lines slit sheet to your working width at ±0.1 mm. Export orders leave Mumbai port packed in wooden cases or on pallets.

Chemical plants roll Hastelloy C276 plate into reactor shells, evaporator bodies, and heat exchanger channels handling hot acids that swing between reducing and oxidising states. Sheet in lighter gauges lines carbon steel vessels at a fraction of solid-wall cost. Where the duty is firmly oxidising, chlorinated organics or wet chlorine service, engineers draw Hastelloy C22 plate from the same stock.
FGD scrubbers concentrate chlorides and sulphuric acid condensate at the wet-dry interface, an environment that damages stainless steel liners within seasons. Power stations clad absorber walls, outlet ducting, and stack liners with Hastelloy C276 sheet and specify C22 where oxidising chloride chemistry runs harshest. Thin wallpaper-style lining keeps the alloy cost workable on large ductwork.
Sour wells push produced fluids laden with hydrogen sulphide, carbon dioxide, and hot brines past every component in the flow path. Hastelloy C276 plate builds separator internals, heat exchanger baffles, and cladding for wellhead equipment in these streams. Offshore platforms also call up C22 sheet for flare and vent system parts exposed to combustion condensates.
