Inconel 600 shims are thin, flat spacers slit from a nickel-chromium-iron alloy holding a 72% minimum nickel content. Chromium at 14 to 17% builds the oxide film that stops scaling; the nickel base resists chloride stress-corrosion cracking and caustic alkalis. Density is near 8.47 g/cm³, and the grade is suitable for temperatures up to about 1093°C. Fitters place these shims wherever a gap must be set accurately in hot or corrosive service: flange joints, turbine casings, and furnace assemblies.
We are reliable Inconel 600 shim suppliers, providing precision-slitting of every Inconel 600 shim in-house to customer-specified widths rather than supplying only standard mill sizes. Material is supplied in annealed soft condition to ASTM B168, between 3 mm and 2000 mm. Buyers can choose BA, 2B, or Matte surfaces. Our documented quality system covers every stage from incoming coil inspection through final dispatch.
