About Hastelloy Coils

Hastelloy coils are continuous lengths of flat-rolled nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy wound after hot or cold rolling. Fabricators reach for them where stainless steel fails to withstand harsh conditions. Wet chlorine, hot contaminated mineral acids, chloride-laden brines, and process streams that swing between oxidising and reducing conditions all defeat conventional grades through pitting and crevice attack; the molybdenum-rich chemistry of the C-family alloys shuts those mechanisms down. The metal also resists chloride stress-corrosion cracking, so thin slit strips formed into bellows, diaphragms, and seals keeps its integrity under sustained load. Coil feed suits continuous stamping and roll forming, and every blank nests along one rolled length, which matters at Hastelloy prices because scrap costs real money.

Our Mumbai and Taloja warehouses hold Hastelloy coil across both rolling routes. Hot-rolled pickled material covers the heavier gauges up to 5 mm, while cold-rolled coils run down to 0.03 mm. Coil ID spans 150 to 610 mm with OD up to 1800 mm, and material dispatches in the annealed, soft condition, the standard mill supply state for these alloys. Every source coil lands with its mill documentation before the slitter touches it, so heat traceability survives from melt to delivered width. Buyers take full source coils or slit widths from the same stock, with technical data sheets available on request.

Grades We Supply

We hold a ready stock of 2 Hastelloy coil grades, C276 and C22. The corrosive environment decides between them, and most enquiries settle the question in a single conversation.

Industries We Serve for Hastelloy Coils

3 industrial sectors specify most of the Hastelloy alloy coils leaving our slitting lines. Whether the medium oxidises or reduces usually settles which grade wins the order.

Hastelloy Coils used in Chemical Processing

Chemical Processing

Acid plants and agrochemical producers form Hastelloy C276 Coils into reactor linings, column internals, and heat exchanger strips for streams carrying hot contaminated sulphuric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric acids. Process upsets that flip a stream from reducing to oxidising leave C276 untouched, which is exactly why plants standardise on it. Slit widths feed straight into the gasket and seal production for the same units.

Hastelloy Coils used in Pollution Control and Flue Gas Desulphurisation

Pollution Control and Flue Gas Desulphurisation

FGD scrubbers in coal-fired power stations run wet, chloride-rich, and acidic all at once, one of the harshest environments in industry. Fabricators wrap absorber towers and line ductwork with thin C276 coil, while Hastelloy C22 Coils take the outlet duct zones where oxidising chloride condensates concentrate and pitting risk peaks.

Hastelloy Coils used in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology

Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology

Clean-in-place chemistry, chloride-bearing buffer solutions, and repeated steam sterilisation wear down process equipment over the years of campaigns. Pharmaceutical builders form Hastelloy C22 Coils into vessel components and transfer-line parts because the grade shrugs off oxidising sanitising agents, and a BA finish delivers the smooth, cleanable surface the industry validates.

Certifications of Hastelloy Coils

Documentation follows every coil out of the warehouse. Riddhi Siddhi Impex operates under three ISO certifications, with mill-level traceability beneath them.

3.1EN 10204

Mill Test Certificate

An EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill test certificate accompanies each dispatch, traceable to the originating mill heat. Type 3.2 certification comes on request.

9001ISO

ISO 9001

ISO 9001:2015 certifies the quality management system governing how we source, stock, and slit material.

14001ISO

ISO 14001

Our environmental practices run under ISO 14001:2015, from coil storage through handling and dispatch.

45001ISO

ISO 45001

ISO 45001:2018 sets the occupational health and safety framework across the warehouse and the slitting floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the HS Code for Hastelloy Coils?

Hastelloy is a nickel alloy, so flat-rolled coils clear under HS heading 7506, which covers nickel plates, sheets, strip, and foil; alloyed material falls under subheading 7506.20. Confirm the final classification with your customs broker before shipment.

Do you supply Hastelloy Coils from ready stock?

Yes, Hastelloy Coils sit in our Mumbai stock year-round. Standard dispatch takes 4 to 5 days, and urgent orders leave within 2 to 3 days.

Can you slit Hastelloy Coils to custom widths?

Yes. Our lines cut anywhere between 3 mm and 2000 mm wide and hold ±0.1 mm on the finished width. Inner diameters run 150 to 610 mm, outer diameters reach 1800 mm, and edges ship slit, deburred, or rounded to order.

Where can I buy Hastelloy Coils in India?
