Stainless Steel Foils
Manufacturer and Supplier in India

We are Riddhi Siddhi Impex, an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001-certified stainless steel foil manufacturer and supplier based in Mumbai since 2002. Our slitting lines transform mill-certified source coils into thin-gauge foil to ASTM, ASME, and AMS standards. With 400 to 500 tonnes of monthly supply capacity and dispatch inside 4 to 5 days, precision buyers get foil without the mill lead time.

About Stainless Steel Foils

Stainless steel foil is flat-rolled material taken down to gauges thin enough to wrap, form, and stack where a sheet cannot follow. Designers fold it into bellows, wind it into catalyst substrates, wrap tools for heat treatment, and punch it into precision spacers. The chromium content, above 10.5%, renews its own passive oxide film, so a foil a few hundredths of a millimetre thick still resists rust that would damage coated carbon steel. Buyers also search for the product as SS foil, stainless steel foil roll, or shim stock.

Cold rolling gives foil its tight gauge control, and we slit every order in-house from full-width coil. Our warehouse in Taloja and Mumbai can hold up to 1000 tonnes annually, and mill documentation travels with each batch from source coil through slitting. Foil ships on spools, in coils, or as cut lengths to suit the customer's feeding equipment.

Grades We Supply

Fifteen stainless grades run through our foil lines: 10 austenitic, 4 ferritic, and 1 martensitic. The family controls metallurgy while each grade covers a different service niche.

A

Austenitic Stainless Steel Foils

10 grades

Austenitic material takes the deepest reductions without cracking, which is why it dominates foil work.

Stainless Steel 301 Foils

Work-hardening builds spring temper into Stainless Steel 301 Foils fast, a property flapper valve and spring makers exploit.

View grade

Stainless Steel 304 Foils

Stainless Steel 304 Foils balance corrosion resistance, deep-draw formability, and price across general precision work.

View grade

Stainless Steel 304L Foils

Lower carbon lets Stainless Steel 304L Foils allow them to weld into laminated packs without carbide precipitation at the joints.

View grade

Stainless Steel 309 Foils

Scaling resistance carries Stainless Steel 309 Foils through furnace wraps and heat-treatment duty.

View grade

Stainless Steel 310S Foils

Tool-wrap and radiant-zone service at sustained high temperature belongs to Stainless Steel 310S Foils.

View grade

Stainless Steel 316L Foils

Molybdenum gives Stainless Steel 316L Foils their pitting resistance in chloride exposure; low carbon keeps the welded foil sound.

View grade

Stainless Steel 317L Foils

A further molybdenum step moves Stainless Steel 317L Foils into scrubber linings and harsher process chemistry.

View grade

Stainless Steel 321 Foils

Titanium stabilisation protects Stainless Steel 321 Foils against intergranular attack through long spells at temperature.

View grade

Stainless Steel 347 Foils

Niobium stabilises Stainless Steel 347 Foils, favoured for refinery and power plant components that run hot.

View grade

Stainless Steel 904L Foils

Copper additions with elevated nickel and molybdenum let Stainless Steel 904L Foils survive sulphuric acid duty that pits leaner grades.

View grade
M

Martensitic Stainless Steel Foils

1 grade

Martensitic chemistry responds to heat treatment, giving up a measure of corrosion resistance in return for hardness.

Surface Finishes

Finish selection on foil follows the final rolling and annealing route; we supply multiple finishes.

Stainless Steel Foils BA (Bright Annealed) finishBA

BA (Bright Annealed)

Annealing under a protective atmosphere leaves a reflective, oxide-free surface suited to visible parts and instrument work.

Stainless Steel Foils 2B finish2B

2B

The smooth, softly reflective 2B surface comes from cold rolling, annealing, and pickling. Most foil orders ship this way.

Stainless Steel Foils No.4 brushed finishNo. 4

No.4 brushed

A directional brushed texture masks fingerprints and light scratching, so equipment fascias and kitchen panels specify it.

Stainless Steel Foils Matte finishMatte

Matte

Low-gloss matte foil cuts reflection and hides handling marks on exposed assemblies.

Industries We Serve for Stainless Steel Foils

Most of the foil tonnage we dispatch lands in 3 industries. Corrosion exposure and forming severity decide the grade.

Stainless Steel Foils used in Automotive and Transport

Automotive and Transport

Catalytic converter substrates, exhaust flexible couplings, and heat shielding all start life as thin ferritic foil. Stainless Steel 409 Foils handle repeated heat cycling economically, and Stainless Steel 441 Foils step in where weld joints must survive exhaust temperatures.

Stainless Steel Foils used in Food Processing and Kitchen Equipment

Food Processing and Kitchen Equipment

Dairies and commercial kitchens use food-grade foil for sealing membranes, flexible ducting, and equipment cladding. Stainless Steel 304 Foils clean up under daily washdown, while brines and stronger sanitising chemicals justify the step to Stainless Steel 316L Foils. BA and 2B surfaces suit hygienic contact zones.

Stainless Steel Foils used in Chemical and Petrochemical

Chemical and Petrochemical

Process plants wind foil into gasket windings, diaphragms, and instrument bellows. Stainless Steel 317L Foils face scrubber condensate, and Stainless Steel 904L Foils take concentrated sulphuric acid streams. Both molybdenum-bearing grades stay on our shelves for shutdown replacements.

Certifications of Stainless Steel Foils

Traceable documentation follows every foil order, backed by three ISO certifications at Riddhi Siddhi Impex.

3.1EN 10204

Mill Test Certificate

Each consignment carries an EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill test certificate recording chemistry and mechanicals against the heat. Type 3.2 comes on request.

9001ISO

ISO 9001

ISO 9001:2015 certification anchors our quality management system, covering material intake, slitting checks, and outbound release.

14001ISO

ISO 14001

Our ISO 14001:2015 certification directs environmental practice from goods receipt through processing to despatch.

45001ISO

ISO 45001

Worker safety in the warehouse and slitting floor operates under ISO 45001:2018, our occupational health certification.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the HS Code for Stainless Steel Foils?

Stainless steel foils are classified under HS heading 7220 when slit below 600 mm wide, which covers most foil orders. Widths of 600 mm and above fall under heading 7219. Have your customs broker verify the exact subheading.

Do you keep Stainless Steel Foils in ready stock?

Yes, stainless steel foils move fastest and stay stocked year-round. Standard dispatch runs 4 to 5 days, and urgent requirements go out the door in 2 to 3 days.

Can you slit Stainless Steel Foil to custom widths?

Yes. Our lines slit foil to any width between 3 and 2000 mm and hold the tolerance at ±0.1 mm, on coil IDs from 150 mm to 610 mm.

Where can I buy Stainless Steel Foils in India?

Riddhi Siddhi Impex manufactures and supplies SS foil from Mumbai and has shipped to buyers across India and abroad since 2002. Call or WhatsApp us, and a quote will reach you within 24 hours.
