As an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001-certified supplier with a supply capacity of 400-500 tonnes monthly, we deliver worldwide. All dispatches include EN 10204 3.1/3.2 test certificates on request to guarantee complete traceability and premium quality.
Incoloy 800 sheets and plates are nickel-iron-chromium alloy flat products built for extended periods at elevated temperatures. Nickel at 30 to 35% holds an austenitic structure and resists chloride stress corrosion cracking. Chromium at 19 to 23% forms a tight oxide film against scaling, while small aluminium and titanium additions keep the structure stable at temperature. Because iron makes up much of the balance, these incoloy sheets and plates generally cost less than fully nickel-base alloys while retaining excellent high-temperature performance. It is commonly used in industrial furnaces, chemical processing equipment, and steam generator tubing for its high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance.
As a reliable Incoloy 800 sheet and plate supplier, we hold Alloy 800 stock in widths up to 2000 mm (post-slitting). Material ships annealed in 2B or BA finish.

Industrial Applications of Incoloy 800 Sheets & Plates
These 4 industries specify most of the Incoloy 800 Sheets and Plates we supply, each picking the grade for oxidation resistance, carburisation resistance, or strength at heat.
Chemical and Petrochemical Processing
Process plants fabricate Incoloy 800 plates into reformer components, pyrolysis equipment, and vessel linings that carry hot hydrocarbon streams. The chromium oxide film blocks oxidation, and the high nickel base slows carburisation, so furnace internals keep their wall thickness in service.
Power Generation
Power stations specify Alloy 800 plate for superheater supports, steam piping components, and heat-recovery casings under sustained heat. The austenitic structure carries creep load through years of thermal cycling and stands up to oxidising flue gas without losing section.
Heat Treatment Equipment
Furnace builders form Nickel Alloy 800 sheet into muffles, retorts, radiant tube assemblies, and carburising fixtures. The grade serves continuously to around 816 °C, so baskets and trays survive repeated quench cycles that warp lower alloys early.
Heat Exchangers and Process Equipment
Fabricators machine tubesheets, baffles, and channel covers from UNS N08800 plate for high-temperature exchanger duty. Balanced chemistry lets one material face oxidising and mildly reducing atmospheres, and titanium stabilisation keeps welded seams sound in hot service.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ASTM specification for Incoloy 800 Sheets and Plates?
Incoloy 800 Sheets and Plates are covered by ASTM B409 and its ASME equivalent SB-409. Both set the chemistry, mechanical minimums, and tolerances for nickel-iron-chromium alloy plate, sheet, and strip in UNS N08800.
What is the difference between Incoloy 800 and 800H Plates?
The difference between Incoloy 800 and 800H plates lies in carbon control. Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800) holds carbon to 0.10% maximum, while 800H (UNS N08810) keeps carbon between 0.05 and 0.10% with a controlled grain size for higher creep-rupture strength above 593 °C. We supply the base grade.
What thicknesses are available for Incoloy 800 Sheets and Plates?
We stock Incoloy 800 sheets from 3.8 mm to 10 mm and plates in heavier gauges in widths up to 2000 mm (post-slitting). Custom sizes are available, subject to mill availability.
Can Incoloy 800 Sheets be slit to custom widths?
Yes, Incoloy 800 sheets can be slit to custom widths on our in-house lines, with widths from 3 mm to 2000 mm (after slitting) at ±0.1 mm tolerance. Send us your required width for a quotation.
Which industries use Incoloy 800 Plates?
Incoloy 800 plates are used in chemical and petrochemical processing, power generation, heat treatment equipment, and heat exchanger fabrication, wherever oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength decide the material.
Where can I source Incoloy 800 Sheets and Plates in India?
